Off to watch the footie on TV

So

A friendly game (of *affects nasal whiny yankee accent* 'soccer') against the Dutch tonight. Hopefully our (Swedish) manager will remind teh dutch that they ought to be grateful for the WWII thing and let us win. Unfortunately, this is not going to work when we play the Germans in three days! Off to the pub and drink beer!!

I miss going to a bar to drink and watch ..(adopts flat monatone nasely voice of a brit).. "footie".. With it being baseball season here it is hard to get even the irish type pubs here to turn on soccer .. sigh.. Lift one for me..
