Wisdom Teeth?

A few years ago I went to the dentist and he told me that I was only going to get 2 wisdom teeth. A few weeks ago the both started to come out at the same time
The crown on my right one is already out and on the left one I only have a chunk coming out. Anyways, what came out happened in like 3 days it seems. But, after that came out they stopped coming out more. My question is-can wisdom teeth stop growing or go back in a little? I dunno if I should go back to the dentist, but it's just kinda weird. I've heard about people having to get them pulled and stuff, but I'm in major pain.

when they start to hurt you should go back in. mine came in over a long period of time a while ago, though from looking at x-rays the dentist said they'd probably be able to stay in. i've always had spiffy teeth like that. *rules*

When you get them pulled out ask if you can have a combo of sodium pentathol and the gas.

when I had mine out i woke up in the middle of the opperation. They had my mouth clamped open. I said hi and the next thing i know a needle is going into my iv and i got knocked out again. But to answer your question the sooner you have them looked at the sooner you will know and if they do need to get taken out there will be less complications the sooner the better

Wisdom teeth are not to be fucked with, if they cause you no pain, leave them where they are. If they cause you pain, get them extracted ASAP, wisdom teeth have a nasty habit of impacting, this will cause them to grow deep and twist within the mandible, most, if left untreated, have grown throught the lateral tuberosity where the main nerves of the face span the jaw, causing damage to the ligments and nerves that crontrol the action and support of the face.
Moral:
Take the fuckers out or they will ruin you whole face, if you are fuck ugly, leave them in , it might help fix ya face!!!

Yeah that happened to me, they grew out a tiny bit then stopped. I havent been to a dentist in so long Anyway, its been about 8 months and they are still sitting there..no pain or anything.

ill tell you what

3 days is nothing

they will start agin

about once a mounth i go throught at least a week of shear pain

its geting to the poing were when they start moving and taring there way throught my gums that i take something and cut the gums my self if you can afford or have the insureijnce to get them out do it

i dont right now so i deal with the pain

but for that week of the mounth im hurtin and pain killers dont touch it much in the middle of the week... ive experinced all kinds of mixers... (takeing 7 advil per sitting with vodka seems to work the best.... i dont recomend that tho, the bottle says dont take 4 per 24hrs so dont try)

moral.... if you can get them removed do it there eivle eivle bastards

Apparently in the 1930's in US, the doctors used to give scopalamine with the anaesthetic for its amnesic properties so if you were awake during the operation, you'd forget about it afterwards. And an even worse fact, they used to use curare as an anaesthetic on kids, but it is only any use as a paraletic (ie, prevents reflex movement/twitching during the operation) so these kids were awake and feeling through the whole thing but unable to move. Nobody believed them until a doctor had a minor operation under curare and felt and remembered all of it. Yukky, eh?

I read this in a paper by Daniel Dennett, where he looks at the pain mental/physical question. So I guess that it's true, he's pretty thorough.

My wisdom teeth, well I think that's what they are...started growing in. I can feel bits and pieces of tooth, but they don't hurt. My theory, if it ain't broke, don't fix it!

I had my wisdom teeth removed by an Army doctor. All 4 in one sitting. Just an inadequate bit of novacaine.
I don't recommend it.

3 hours of pulling, breaking, twisting and pain. I think he had his knee on my chest at one point.
Did you see the surgery scene in Dances With Wolves?

Any way it's no big deal. Go see the dentist.

To me my mouth is sorta like my vagina..I don't want some strange guy poking around in there I've only went to the dentist once and afterwards I felt...kinda dirty so after that I've taken great care of my teeth. Plus they gave me the gas and my doctor was Korean or something and I couldn't understand him. He was shouting at me and I couldn't comprehend. The whole thing was just freaky.

man, i love the dentist, i like the feeling of having rubber encased hands fingering my gums, and the feeling when they scrape the plack of is truely exciting, and the electric brush, vibrates my head so nicely, i even like the pink liquid that you have to rinse with afterwards, its a sham that i haven't been able to afford to go in a while

i had a similar situation to dog breaths

after they stuck long needles in my gums, i had the hardest time swallowing. kinda hard when you can't feel your tongue, ya know?
i was awake for the procedure, there is an incredible amont of pressure involved. my jaw was black and blue for a week afterwards, it was where he put the pliers for leverage. watching the sucking tube turn red immediately afterwards, kinda gross but facinating

i asked for my teeth afterwards and they looked at me funny. so i giggled uncontrollably. but they wouldn't let me keep them the bastards

just wait til afterwards, when you want to take the entire fucking bottle of vicodine. and swallowing hurts for about a week

boy i was glad when that whole ordeal was over
