There are so many books out there who knows whats good or not. Look around amazon and read peoples feedback. Make sure you get a book that starts with the very basics, then read each chapter over and over until you fully understand it. Good luck.

I'm reading a Bruce Eckel Book, Thinking in Java, and it's pretty good. Which doesn't help you at all....except he also has a C++ out called thinking in C++. I think it's actually downloadable from the web. Big book though. goto http://www.bruceeckel.com . Let me know if you do, and whether you like it.

Cheers,
Melesse
