Kurt, I'm sorry, I thought you meant you wanted help from Paint CHiPs the moderator, not help with Paint software.
So sorry!!!
I just looked at Paint. You're right, it doesn't have the option to save jpg files.
I went to CNET's www.download.com & looked at image file conversion programs. The following two freeware programs were well recommended. I haven't used either myself, so I can't guarantee anything(!). But download.com is reliable in my experience.
