Well, I did it. I had to kill Paint.
It's like this, Paint reads my post and deccides to email me a "quick fix".
I (like a fucking idiot) tried it.
Then I called him...

I have helped many elite peeps fix their boxes, it is not my fault if my advice is way over your script kiddie heads! Wonderaz, you OBVIOUSLY didn't solder your motherboard as I specifically suggest, but NOOOOO, because you can't understand my advice, I get the boot! WELL FUCK YOU TOO!!!

And that coffee thing works on MY machine. You just must not have a double pipeline burst cache installed on your scanner. Had you have bothered to TELL me that, I would have suggested lemon juice, and your machine would be running at double capacity as we speak. I NEED TO KNOW THESE THINGS, PEOPLE!! I CAN'T FIX YOUR BOXES WITHOUT SOME IDEA OF WHAT THE PROBLEM ENTAILS!!!

But don't worry, I'll still be trolling around in here, giving helpful hints when I see fit, because, man, it's all about the people. And if I can make one B67 Firewall run at triple capacity with a newly soldered Tetrawhat crystal processor, than that far outweighs any other damage I may have caused.

Okay, time to cut the crap, says missphinx the WIT forum mod.

You may ask, what is missphinx doing, being a WIT forum mod? I accepted the offer not because of any delusion I have of having *any* 1337 technical prowess. I don’t.

I agreed to volunteer my time here because I believe I have something to offer: a knack for organizing and decrypting technical material, with a broad enough understanding of computer and other fields to do so.

You guys have a very impressive variety and depth of knowledge and talent here. I’m here to help, to make this forum work, to make information and resources easier to find. I’d also like to see more stimulating discussion here, not just “help me/I broke” it posts, but I guess that’s personal .

That’s the (my) plan. We’ll see how it goes.

And it is truly a pleasure being here, by the way. All the ‘groupie’ jokes aside.
