Win2000 flys

I just slapped it on my Win98/ WinNT Server box and all I can say is it's network performance just smokes! I'm diggin' it.

Check out www.attrition.org and the list of hacked websites, see how many are on NT/2000 servers compared to nix systems.

2k has been superbly tested, tweaked and improved for network performance. there are a gagillion benchmarks proving it's performance is on par with *nix.

undeniably the security issues are there. it's a macro driven os. pretty pictures, point and click and ease of use are gained at the price of stability and security. it's great for home use and even enterprise, but it falls short in comparison to most unix based systems. i can't say all, because there are a lot of admins out there and some of them are clueless. a clueless unix guy can and will be defeated by a honed nt guru any day and vise versa.
