A serious technical question...

So I have a sony "Noteworthy" camera right? But a 10 second video capture is over 40 Megs...

Where does one find compression software to reduse the size for E-mail purposes and the like?

Any ideas?

If the camera creates MPEGs, then you can use something like FLASK MPEG to convert them from the hefty files that they are into the smallest format I know of, DivX ;-).

Download and install the codec first, then the flask mpeg. you'll have to figure it out from there.

I had similar problems with my webcam. I am gonna assume that this is on windows and the camera software has the option to chnage the codec used. Like Mem said get up to date codec, see if you can get the latest .avi codecs from Microshaft or the mpeg 4 codec.
