Simple DOS Question

Perhaps this is a stupid question but when you decide to uninstall a old DOS program, do you have to do anything special to remove it? Is simply deleting it enough? Will deletion leave some sort of bits and pieces laying about? The programs in particular I'm talking about are old games like Mechwarrior, Gunboat, and Bluemax, ect.

Just delete the directory, thats it.
