...can anyone make me a copy of nin's "broken" video? i would greatly appreciate it. i can pay a few bucks for s&h, plus a few bucks for a blank tape...please??

I do not have broken, however I do have the double set they came out with (the name escapes me). This reminds me of a story...

When I was a younger lad my family had the Prodigy service. I connected to it with a 2400 modem on my Mac LC. Anyway I was in to Nine Inch Nails at the time and the way Prodigy worked back then was more like the message board you are currently reading than online services today. No instant messaging or anything. Anyway, my account was DSWH53B (I still remember that). When you posted it would have your account and name at the top of your message. Occasionally there would be a post from "******A TRENT REZNOR". I can't remember the account number, but I know that it was an "A" account, meaning it was the primary billing account. I was skeptical, and someone posted a message saying that Trent had been kicked off because someone reported that he was an imposter yet Prodigy had restored the account when proof of identification was supplied. Anyway, what really confirmed it for me was that the poster talked about finding a band he really liked and wanted to produce named Prick. He also said that they were planning to shoot a long form video for Broken, and he also posted about his dog dying. Some time later Trent Reznor produced Prick, the Broken video was made but never released (Pinion was used as the title sequence for MTV's Alternative Nation). I am pretty sure that it was Trent Reznor, he's also still active online.. my friend showed me a story not too long ago where a stalker hacked his AOL account,"MTRez". So he's lurking around somewhere.

I don't have Broken, but I, too, have Closure.

hehe, DM. on the official NIN bbs he posts stuff.. well used to around the time when The Fragile came out. I'll bet he's too busy right now to keep in touch.

also, there's this guy, Morpheus Technopagan (think that's his name) who runs a site called The Remix Files who talks to C.Clouser on a regular basis.

i think i have broken..or something to that extent (ambiguous bootleg) i think it's broken + every other video up to the fragile. Not sure about the quality either (its been a while, cut me a break ). plus, it might be a while until i can get my hands on it. i left it w/ my parents, and theyre moving. but, nobody can do better here. i'll send it

morgana, how come you have to wait until now to ask questions like this? If you'd asked 5 years ago I would have sent you the entire Broken video. Pinion's quite nice. First 'shock' video I'd ever seen.
