Alvin Petty is teaming up with Amsterdam Art to bring a unique approach to airbrush illustration. The course includes maintenance and equipment layout, effective texturing, template mixing and creative design exercises. Petty has many years of airbrush experience and will be sharing examples of his work from projects he has done for the bands Metallica, Heathen, Primus and many others. Class is limited to 12.

too bad I don't have that kind of money to throw around. I was just across the street from amsterdam art yesterday, buying a friend a sandwich at that cheesesteak place. took a half hour dammit.

nope...I get home too late. I was there yesterday though with a friend of mine. heh I pissed off these LA looking girls, because they were walking too slowly, and blabbing on about clothes. I brushed by them whilst growling. I didn't mean to, but they were taken aback hehe.
telegraph is fun, but there are too many freaks there (damn krishnas) and too many slow people getting in my way
I've got places to go dagnabbit. like to my car before it gets towed hehe. If you ever see a blue dodge dart with a shitty paint job driving around playing blackmetal or somethin, that's me.

yeah, I'd like to meet him. I've never met anyone who even knows who heathen is...and they're one of my all time favorite thrash bands. they're from berkeley too...

yeah we've got some decent music at the freight sometimes...but I don't like most of it. guess that's why it's a job.

hehe I was in amoeba yesterday buying century black's 'firestarter' cd. the only thing I don't like about amoeba is that it has all extreme metal filed under blackmetal. incantation for instance.

my friend susprised me once at amoeba by pulling on my hair...I wheeled around and he ran away. but don't do that to me because sometimes I go right on ahead and sock whoever did it, assuming that it's a pal of mine.

I ate lunch at la vals, and that dude with the funny hair that looks like a weave served me. I don't know if you've seen him, but he's a goofy bastard.

The tippergore mentality of 21+ is horribly repressive and stultifying. The fucking police mentality combined with the yuppie overpopulation and lack of space in SF is doing its best to ruin the art & music scene there. I do see that there are more clubs etc. opening in Oakland and elsewhere, that's a small benefit(?).

The 21+ isn't all - damn cops would shut down all the clubs if they could & instigate a 10:00 curfew for everyone. That way they could sit around in their squad cars wanking into empty donut boxes instead of "working."

If anybody else is reading this, is this happening in other cities - crackdown on nightlife?

One way around the 21 thing, sometimes, is to work at the club (coatcheck, door, etc.) or be in the band. We used to be able to get people in that way, at least.
