I almost feel as though I've stumbled into and disturbed some sort of private thingy here .. I feel like I did when I walked into my parents room while they were doing it.
I'm going to go wash my socks like 500 times now.

after careful consideration I've come up with the following steps to wash socks in an effective manner.

1) buy a boat
2) buy box of granulated detergent
3) put detergent in boat and boat in water (recommend lake)
4) remove socks
5) open sock and sprinkle detergent granules into opening
6) close the end and shake the sock to distribute granules evenly in sock
7) make the boat go fast
8) drag sock from the back of the boat with open end facing into the current (be careful of the propeller)

this will get them socks mighty clean.
