Post Etree

Anyone here know what I'm talking about?

Let me know and we'll see if we can work something out.

Phish among others. Etree is a high-quality digital music traders network for trader friendly bands. Info at etree.org. Lots of PHish and Grateful dead, but many, many others.

Leftover Salmon,
Bela Fleck
String Cheese Incident
Moe
MMW
Sector 9
Widespread Panic
Disco Biscuits
Jazz is dead

just a few off the top of my head that I know that they deal in...

Well I've got nothing to offer. :/
I know some people who are into that, and they keep telling me they are going to show me how to use it (I have no idea what to do with SHN's).
I've got some good quality stuff on disc though. Old dead. Good stuff from around 68'-78 mostly.

Shns are just a special way to compress audio files without losing any quality in the process. Think of it as like .zip, only made for audio. SHN is most convenient for downloading, as it cuts the size of a show by maybe 35-50% They are still pretty big, maybe 1 Gig for a show, but it is still quicker than downloading 1800Megs.

If you get SHNs, all you have to do is decompress them and viola, you have audio files, either wav (PC) or AIFF (mac). Then you just burn them down to disc.
www.etree.org if you want more.
