Hi, Im a has-been with a need to have my name in the spotlight so I do wierd shit like change my name to a symbol and join fringe religions. Did I mention my music has sucked big time for about 15 years?

D_I hit on a point I have noticed. When an artist or band make it "big", often the music turns to shit. They may ocassionally have a decent song, but for the most part its crap. Besides Prince, I feel this has happened to U2 and Metallica.

Anyone else feel this way?

I know what you mean. Personally I disagree with your thoughts on U2. I think they put out some quality music but you are right they will never be as good as they were in the 80's, early 90's.

REM fits the bill. One of my all time favorites. Havent put out anything decent in a long time. Though I havent heard the new CD so I am hoping they have reversed that trend.
