Things that bug me

I went out into the "real world" for a short time today and witnessed these events.

A woman buying filet mignon with food stamps.

A woman so busy talking that she neglected to go throught the green light, therefore making me sit through the red. (short light)

A man who see me carrying a case of beer and still cut in front of me in the line (the clerk told him to get out of my way)

People who stop in the middle of the street to talk to a pedestrian. (happened twice)

People who steal grocery carts from the store and leave them on the side of the road (4)

People who don't pull all the way up to the last pump at the gas station.

THIS is why I don't go out! So what bugs you?

morons who put all their groceries on the checkout counter, then proceed to leave the cart blocking the way - thank god for homegrocer...

I'm a fairly well adjusted guy, I think. But some things that piss me off are:

• People who say to me 'mind if I ask you something?' and don't see the incredible amount of irony in what they've just said
  
• People who say 'it's a small world.' WTF? It's huge. It's the biggest thing that most of us will ever see
  
• People who say 'life is short.' Again, WTF? It's the longest fucking thing any of us will ever know
  
• People who find out what I do, take one look at me and then think they know me. They don't. They may eat a dick
  
• Salesmen/women who suddenly become my best friend after 0.1 seconds of me knowing them. I tell each and every one of them that they would have made a successful sale had they treated me with some respect and given me some credit for being an intelligent individual. And then I invite them also to go eat a dick
  
• Drivers who stop at a zebra crossing and then act like I owe them a fucking favour or something. That happened tonight. I was standing at the bottom of Botanic Avenue in Belfast tonight, waiting for the mad taxi drivers to think about obeying traffic laws for once and stop at the crossing (in Britain and Ireland it's compulsory) to let me cross. One guy does, I walk across and he winds down the window and says 'you might thank me at least.' I say 'zebra crossing, you stop, I walk, alright?' He mutters something. I say 'go eat a dick'. He drives off swearing at me. WTF?
  
• Religious door-to-door types. Don't even get me started. Quite a lot don't even speak basic fucking English. I have learned to say 'go eat a dick' idiomatically in over ten languages
  
• People who get irrationally pissed when I suggest that they may want to go eat a dick

when you go in a public bathroom and it's really busy, so you have to use a toilet with a warm seat...ew.


when there's a wreck on the opposite side of the road that slows YOUR lane down because people have to stare.


people who come into my place of business and complain about a two dollar price difference, buy five dollars worth of stuff, and pay with a 100.00 bill.

going to pay for gas and there's only one cashier, and some guy wants to buy fifty dollars worth of scratch off's and do them at the counter.

I hate Christians who feel they have to scream at me and swear at me and threaten me with bodily harm when they find out I'm Athiest.
