Very, very awesome....
I had the opposite experience today:
I had a coupon/voucher to use at a particular store today for $23. I took my detergent, shampoo, and 'girlie' items to the counter and presented the coupon to the smiling clerk. She looked at it quizically and said she was sorry, but would have to calle her manager to see how to ring it all up and would I mind waiting?....I smiled back and said 'not at all'. While she was calling, my 9 yr old picked up some candy and asked that I buy it. I told him, 'sorry son, not today'. When the clerk got off the phone, she was frowning and said she was so 'very, very sorry', but she couldn't take the coupon, that only another store across town could. Then she picked up that candy my son wanted and handed it to him with a smile, looking at me for approval as she did. I nodded and my son thanked her. We got back in my van and as I was about to back out, the clerk came running out of the store with two bags full of what I'd wanted to purchase and shoved them thru my window, then hugged me as I looked at her stunned and said 'God Bless'..........I cried. Just when I thought the world was going to hell.....
I'm gonna go use that coupon at the proper store and give the items to the Church next door tomorrow for someone in need.
