Cool

OH SHIT! How many bands were there?

Please tell me that you had a mudslide. I was at an ampitheatre that is a grass mound surrounding the stage, and it rained, and we had a glorious mudslide.

You also said that Glasto was inspired by Woodstock. The original Woodstock, 69, was also a mud hole on a farm. Mud, mud, glorious mud. God made dirt and dirt don't hurt! You're post made flashbacks for me. Thanks.

Okay a couple of ammendments to the story. It was 1998 not 1999. Shiiiiiit I messed my head up with too many drugs in the past few years, time goes to quick. You know I did a search for lsto 99 and was looking at the line up thinking 'I must have been really fucked because I don;t remeber any of this' and then i realised I was looking at the wornmg year

I don't know how many bands played. I remember seeing Rocket (obviously) and Pulp, and Red Snapper and CJ Bolland, Blur and also listening to Howard Marks.

I would just like to state, for the record, that you suck.

One of these days, man, one of these days...

Glastonbury, Reading, or at least Coachella Valley (Palm Springs, CA) if they do another one.

Ahh yes Reading...you know this year I missed it for the first time in six years. I started going to Reading back in 1994. I was gutted when I did'nt go this year. Mind you Reading is full of attitude now anyway, its not like Glasto.

Last time I went to Reading in 99 I saw.....wait for it......The Chemical Brothers On a big fucking stage. You hate me even more now don;t you.

Naa... Saw the Chems a couple summers ago at Red Rocks (ya might know the place from U2's "Under a Blood Red Sky" video), same place I saw Oakenfold this past year. Natural sandstone amphitheatre, PERFECT acoustics.
It was a fucking awesome show
