I am conflicted.

But in such a great way.

My first impulse is to say "Holy Christ, what has been posted thus far is one of the greatest true stories I have ever read. A truly interesting read, and a haunting tale by any standard".

My second impulse is to say "Ha ha, I have read parts II and III, and I know that Jyates is just getting warmed up here."

One of the fringe benefits of being an editor.

Seriously though, it constantly amazes me that I live a life that has been full of far more experiences then those of the people I know IRL, and yet there are still people out there, people I only know online, whose lives put mine to shame.

so i just had my first bath in about a year. i printed off this story, lit some candles and some insense and plonked myself in the bath. picked up the papers, and by the second page, my mouth was wide open, and it stayed open until the end.

jyates, yours is a truly amazing life story. it filled me up with so many emotions, and has left me yearning for more. i can't wait to find out what happens next. thankyou

Yes, you should write more about life on the road with the carny and all. Reguard is retiring soon, maybe you can have his editor's seat.

As for corrections, I know there is a regular crew, but I will volunteer specifically to help with yours. Your experiences are too telling to be held up on account of some bad grammar. I would write a column of my own if I had time, but for now, I can help out with a few. While I'm at it, I will also toss my name in the hat for the regular editorial crew, if the admins need more help.
