CAL, thank you for sharing that. I hope it helps people to realize how dangerous alcohol can be.
My Father is an alcoholic. I remember as a child he wasn't really around. My Mom was the one that was there. He still to this day drinks. He has slowed down a lot, thankfully. I just can't help remembering being home some nights, and worrying that he may not make it home.
One night, he came home, turned the car off, but never came in the house. I was sooo scared. I was afraid to go check on him. I was so scared of what I might find. Seems that he had just passed out, which was very rare for my Father. He handled his alcohol very well.
I know that some of you here, in the forum, drink. It's your choice. Just please think of the people that care for you. Take a minute to see what you may be doing to them.
