Yates, I hear ya, ol' buddy. I'm sure you're familiar with the old saying, "Women--can't live with 'em; can't live without 'em." Although there's a good bit of truth in that, I do think it's a stretch, at least, based upon my own experiences. In addition, although most, if not all, of them seem to share some of the same maddening traits, they are all different from each other, i.e., I've never met two women alike.
As far as living with 'em--it's a damn challenge. Sometimes it turns out the challenge is worth it; other times, not. Ultimately, though, I cannot imagine living my life without a woman, or women, in it.
In closing, I'll say this--in my view, a good woman can literally add years to a man's life, while a bad one will drive him to an early grave. It's been said it's a "man's world", but over the years, my suspicions have grown that, in truth, women have been in control all along.
Women. Thank Jeebus fer women. Amen.
