That is very funny, but I actually can answer that question! I collect live music as a hobby, split about 50-50 between trades and downloads. None of the lossy mp3 crap either. We trade wavs in a lossless compressed format that is about 40-60% smaller than raw audio.
A standard concert usually takes 3 cdrs, but you can usually get two concerts in archive format on 3 discs. I have about 150 CDRs of archives and currently about 100 CDRS of playable music.
Most of my shows haven't been burned down to audio yet, still in archive format. Once I get everything burned down, I will probably have close to 600 CDRS of stuff. I have plenty of empty spindles and cd sleeves, believe you me.
And if anyone is interested, check out db.etree.org/j-rod . That's my current list, minus about 10 shows I haven't updated. If you want anything, fire me an email or snag me in chat (or a thread in the appropriate forum) and I'll hook you up.
Still a good comic though, Dog Breath
