Well, MB, I know the feelin'. I've never been a "biker", per se, but I've had a few motorcycles in my time. Back when I became old enough to get a car, I chose to get a bike, instead. It was a little ol' Yamaha 305cc, 2-cylinder, 2-stroke. I rode the tits off that thing. I also had a little Honda 160cc (2-cyl, 4-stroke) for a short time. It was a piece of crap.
When I was 18, however, I bought a brand new Kawasaki 500cc, 3-cyl., 2-stroke. Son, that li'l sumbitch was balls to the wall in the quarter mile. In fact, it was the fastest production cycle made in the quarter mile until Kawasaki came out with the 750cc w/ same configurations. Hell, I'm lucky I didn't kill myself. Had more close calls than I can count, but I never once had to lay it down. The only thing I didn't like about the bike was that it ate chains and sprockets like corn chips. Didn't matter how well you kept 'em oiled and adjusted. One surefire guarantee of an asshole pucker is if you're toolin' down the road and your chain comes off. It's the shits. I vowed next bike I ever got would have a drive-shaft. Unfortunately, back then, only bikes with a drive-shaft were the Beamers.
Last bike I had was a Kawasaki 1500cc V-Twin w/ twin carbs. Wasn't a rocket like yours; just a cruiser. It did, however, have a drive shaft.
You might talk to that jackass Wonderaz. Thinks he's a real biker dude. Granted, he is a devout fan of the Cushman Eagle.
Take care o' yourself, ol' boy. Watch out for the other mofo, that's what I say. Amen.
