sounds like a crighton book (even if its not relevant) where the mere presence of an alien couldn't be observed through our five senses cause parts of them might exist in other dimensions beyond 3d. cause most of our science is from what we see; we don't know there isn't other dimensions

or the presence of those dimensions might have an adverse effect against us. mentally

one of the reasons is that our eyes see only with flesh and blood. we trust them too much.
we merely observe through two sacs of flesh and blood

I loved the piece you wrote...the ultra violet rays couuld very well be a portal to the otherside, ya just never know..and what exist above the ultra violet? or in the dark space..great read.......
