I have it installed, but I have to admit that I haven't tried it yet. I know that it only works with the full version, not the demo. but that's old news.

I'm currently working on another map, for a rune mapping contest thing they're having.

tell me how you like the tree one. I know it needs some work, but i've been getting some good feedback on it.

so, once you submit this map to the contest will you be able to post it?

I finally tried the tree map. I think the weapon placement is good. Too many user maps make the "big" weapons too easy to get.

the route around the outside of the tree is impossible for me to see with my low end video card. It's just too dark. the inside of the tree works well, though, even on my dog of a machine. fog seems to slow things down a lot in UT, but they really got the LOD right on Rune to make it smoother for the weak.

My new map will be released whenever i finish the fucker.
with school and work it is taking forever and i'm never gonna get it done in time.

once it's ready to be play tested i'll put a link to that version in here. It's kinda big so it might end up slowing your machine down too. probably no fog though.

if anyone wants to take a look here is a far from completed version of my current map.

I don't get to work on it alot and i'd like to know if i'm wasting my time before i spend a few more weekends on it.

still needs ALOT of work. i've barely touched the lighting and i want to add some decoration type things and a few textures need fixing. not to mention the places were it just falls apart, which sucks huge amounts of ass.

well here it is if you want to look.

i'll be running a server tonight testing it out, hopefully i can get some players to come in to look.

the ip is 24.92.42.117
(right click on the server list and open location if you didn't know)

I would appreciate any advice or comments anyone has on this.

yes it is damnit.

this was the original though. half way through making it i decided to hit all the forums at once (well three anyway) and changed some of it to work everywhere.

the server will still be running for a while, if anyone wants to take a look.
i will be sleeping tonight though. you might be able to see me floating up in the sky if you do play in there.

if you couldn't connect to it I probably didn't have it running at the time. It was slowing my computer down alot and I had to do some other things on here.

I'll see about putting it back on when i get back from work and class.
