its odd, i have a negative ranking but a positive kill/death margin

and ppl have a higher fph then me although they have negative kills

your deaths to the world in games against bots-only count, but your frags of them do not, hence the results. If you want to get your ratings up you will have to fight against real players.

also - if you have more than one name you use let me knwo and i will get all the stats added together.

I just started playing today after not playing for a while and the server is lagged to hell. The more people who play the laggier it gets. Logan and someone else got on and their ping hovreed around 600-700. My ping was around 300 yet played like 1000 and I finally said fuck it after too many connection interrupteds. The server has some serious bandwidth problems. I only say this because when most people ping at way over 300 something is going on.

yes i know about the bandwidth problems and i am talking with the support people non the bandwidth issues and they are gonna be doubling the bandwidth this month some time apparently... if it continues to be this slow i might take the server down

I have put up a Quake 3 server
@ 24.237.0.112 default port password: asylum
I didn't put any bots up but I will if anyone wants them.
For some reason Q3A will not let me change certain things in the server config like frags and server name even though I've used front ends and edited the source by hand.

I'll figure it out.

Splat, Graves and I were playing last night and I of course had 6 ping but they had around 200 ping. Fiend also played and pinged right at 200 so let's see what it's made of. I have default player amount at 6 but I will up it after we see what it can do.

The server is a AMD 950mhz tbird with 256 ram on a T1 connection.

If people use it enough I'll put the stats up too.

It's up and ready to go...

yea, that was me who jumped in y'day, it said 600 ping but it felt like 900+ with plenty of packet loss. Of course being in Australia I'm used to bad US servers, but that was real bad...
Ah well, no Asylum quake for me. :/
