A Warning

Now that every single post ever made since this site's inception is now back in the index, and we will never again have to backup and delete or archive anything, many people are topping very old threads. I expect the novelty to wear off pretty soon, but I just thought I should give you fair warning.

To lessen the risk of looking like Dead Inside, I suggest glancing at the dates of the original messages before replying to them as if breaking stories. Not that there is anything wrong with replying to old threads. Not at all. Just to avoid you the embarrasment of assuming them to be current events.

This has been your public service announcement for the day.

Fair enough, and you're right actually. We get the most hits when there is some big soap opera going on. For every 5 posts that say "I'm sick of this shit!" we get 20 lurkers reading vehemently. Though even the stat that I posted was, at least I think, in regards to number of posts per day, not hits.

But since we make no money from banners or anything, it's merely a point of interest to me. I like useless statistics.

I just included it because I thought it was a fun stat.

If you check your profile (or that of another person), it tells you on average how many posts you made per day.

Is this obscene or what?
