So, a (very) ex-girlfriend calls me up today to, quote:

“find out what I was up to”

I’ve not spoken to her for a number of years. For the duration of the relationship we had, we were, for want of a better word....soul mates. We were also great together with the ‘shagging’. It was amazing while it lasted, but we both screwed things up. I promised something I couldn’t really ‘fulfil’ and she lied to me. We took the easy option out and it ended. Actually, it was more my fault than it was hers.

Anyway, aside from seeing her from a far a couple of times (no I wasn’t stalking her, we happened to drink in the same pub for a while) today was the first time I have heard her voice in a long long time.

I’ve arranged to meet her for a drink (when I get back from ibiza) and find out why the sudden interest.

To be honest I’m actually a bit concerned about seeing her again. Before the call, my feelings for her were laid to rest, for what I assumed was ‘forever’. And now I’ve heard her sweet voice again and I’m like.....*sigh*.....well, I haven’t stopped thinking about her and what we had. And I keep thinking about how compatible we were with the shagging.

Anyways, I’ll find out soon. Whatever it is she wants, I just cant help feeling suspicious. It’s been 5 years give or take a month.

(and if shes on the rebound from someone and just wants sex.....i really couldn’t say no. anything, as long as its not maternity money shes after)
