Considering that he posts Japscat among other sick things (mostly faked vids, which this probably is, but I cannot say for sure since I haven't seen it yet), I would have thought the last straw came long before this.

If you don't wanna see it, don't watch it. Hell, don't visit Stile's site. I certainly don't.

If you go there and click links, you have absolutely no right to complain about how "distasteful" something is. You don't like it? Tough, go elsewhere.

Honestly, sometimes I wonder about people. Why do some go out of their ways to offend themselves, then get all upset when they succeed?

A few years back HBO ran one of their Documetary series on animals and animal rights throughout the world. What I saw on that two hour film FAR out did anything Stile posted. Eating of the cute and fuzzy animals happens all over the world. Now, I agree that the animals could be killed more humanely; but as I'm sure Mudflap can contest, there are places right here in good old America that kill animals inhumanely. They aren't the norm, but they do exist.

Just a question... Why is it o.k. to kill ugly animals and fish for food (i.e. cows, tuna, pigs, chicken, cod,etc) but the prettier, 'fluffier' animals are protected?

I say we should start hunting harp seals for food.

Its just about different cultures. Some eat cows, some eat cats.

I personally, eat none of them.

i don't think i could ever kill an animal... i do eat meat, but if it came down to it, i'd rather eat veggies for the rest of my life.

i'm not gonna look at that video... i think i might pass out if i saw a kitty getting its head chopped off (i am a big cat lover), but on the other hand, i agree with wonderaz... if you're gonna eat meat, DO IT PROPERLY DAMMIT!!!!!

someone mentioned 'why we only eat the cute animals?' I was talking about it with someone the other day. It isn't because their cute it is because cats, for example, can't easily be tied up, locked in cages, or placed in stalls. They are to wild. Rabbits, cows, pigs, chicken, etc. on the other hand can be. When put in stalls, they are more calm. Just imagine it for a second. If you try doing to a cat what you can do to rabbits or cows, it would freak out, bite you, meow the whole damn day, and tear up everything. The same thing goes for dogs.

Im sure people have tried to do it and have realized that it doesn't work. That's probably how they found out that cats and dogs make good companions if you allow them a certain amount of freedom.

I don't think there is anything wrong with eating cats. Whats the fucking difference? We eat shark, cows, birds, and almost all other kinds of animals, why not cats? Ok, it sux the way they killed it, but would anyone give a fuck if it were a cow? No. It's just because our culture isn't used to seeing shit like that that we freak out when we do.

BTW: cows are cute. they get ugly though if you lock em all up together and let them rot away in their shit until they are finally executed. Near where I live there is a ranch or something. Its right on the side of the freeway. There are thousands of cows lying out there in the heat in the mud and feces. If it gets too hot they water them, with sprinklers.

Actually... i have nothing against people eating whatever. Well that's not quite true... i'm a vegetarian and i think eating meat is unecessary (and very poor resource management) in countries that have the capabilities that western countries do.

However if you DO eat meat, you have no right to whine when someone else eats a horse, or a dog, or a bunny, or whatever. I think eating meat is bad, but paradoxically i mind people eating dog/horse/whatever much less than most people do. i regard it the same as cows and since eating cows is everywhere i'm kind of innured(sp?) to it.

ANYWAY, my point before i got into the whole social critique is that some people do NOT eat cats. Nobody, anywhere, does (unlike our other furry friends, dogs and horses). If they do eat a cat, they are in for a world of hurt- any almost pure carnivour, which cats definately are, are very dangerous to eat (even if we do give them miaow,miaow instead of real meat). There are issues of funky diseases, not to mention buildup of various top-of-the-food-chain toxins.

You might eat one cat, but you'd probably regret it within a week. not to mention, that it would taste really really funky.

i hear bear is ok, but they eat mostly berries and fish. Polar bear meat is poisonous i believe because it's saturated with vitamin A.

Well, I got almost to where the guy grabs the kitten before I had to click it off. I think most of us hate the thought of eating cats dogs, etc. is because we've domesticated them. I do realize that some people have cows and pigs as pets, as do some of my friends. But the majority of ranchers and farmers don't become attached to their cows that they know are being raised to slaughter. That's the difference. And I'm even gonna start on the vegiterian thing.

The liver of any carnivour is the worse of the bunch.

The carnivore liver produces uricase, an enzyme that breaks down uric acid (meat digestion releases large amounts of uric acid). Humans do not have the ability to handle uricase safely and get quite sick, sometimes fatally. which is partly why we can eat meat. but not eat other animals that eat meat. go figure

the reason why eating a cat is so disturbing is because they are domestic animals and things like that dont happen in the US. Our country has never gone through times of starvation so when we see how desperate some starving people get it disturbs us. We have to admit that stuff like that does happen in some parts of our world today. Still I don't think movies of it should be made and distributed. Thats disturbing and I refuse to watch it.
