i dont complain often

but today is one of the shittiest days i ve had in a long time.
my phonecompany tried to install isdn for me today (lets you use the phone will online. infact a digital way to transmit phonesignals instead of analog which i had sofar). first of all they forgot to send me the equipment i need so i had to drive through the whole city to pick the stuff up , of course all at different places. than they cut my phoneline saying it would take half an hour to change things. 20 hours have passed sofar and still in am cut off. "you know , it is weekend now so we cant do anything" these assholes, i m prolly cut off for another few days."can you give us a phone number where we can reach you when it is fixed ?" me:"this is a joke , right ??" needless to say that when someone phones me he gets the impression that i simply refuse to pick up the phone. everyone will be angry with me for not answering.
next thing is that my monthly paycheque didnt arrive and thats why i wasnt able to pay my students fees in time. now i probably get exmatriculated and have to go through all sorts of bureaucratical bullshit.
ok while all this phonecompany stuff happened and when i wasnt standing in a phonebooth yelling at the supporthotline i was at home trying to play some computer games. needless to say that my HD crashed. i hope it is not a headcrash cause i wont be able to afford a new one at them moment.
yes , it was raining the whole day too.
just a minute ago (i m at work at the moment) i got me a coffee and what did i do , the idiot i am ?? i poured the milk in the ashtray instead of the coffeecup. oh man , its perhaps because i only got 4 hours of sleep , who knows. acctually i gave up and now i am only curious what happens next. with my luck today i prolly get robbed or something...
oh well , i dont complain very often ..

So what if you can't talk to anyone for the weekend? Maybe that's a GOOD thing. . . cause although you can't talk to anybody, no one can talk to you either.

You should take the weekend to do something crazy and just get away from it all. . . fuck all of that (college, your job, life) for just awhile. Maybe you have an opportunity here.

Either that or go viciously abuse heroin.

It took Ameritech 6 months from our first install date to hook up our DSL. They wouldn't show when we had them scheduled, they wouldn't return calls, they would claim to send guys out on days when we weren't expecting them (even though someone was usually home and no DSL guy was ever around). That's why I have cable in my new place, they came out the next week and it was a smooth operation.
