A US Greyhound bus has crashed in central Tennessee, killing at least four people - reportedly after a passenger slit the driver's throat.
Hospital sources in Nashville quoted by CNN said 10 people died in the crash. But a spokeswoman for Greyhound, quoted by the Associated Press, put the death toll at four.

Greyhound has suspended all services nationwide as a precautionary measure, the spokeswoman said.

A passenger told Nashville's WTVF television that a man walked up to the front of the bus and slashed the driver's throat.

The bus then swerved off the road and crashed, she said, quoted by the Associated Press.

The crash occurred near Manchester, halfway between Nashville and Chattanooga, on Interstate 24.

The witness, identified as Carly Rinearson, said the alleged assailant, aged 30 to 35, had repeatedly approached her front seat in the bus and asked what time it was.

The man then asked if he could have her seat, and after she refused he attacked the driver.

I always get the driver to stop before I slit his throat. Unless I plan to take control and crash it into a 100 storey building to bring the infidel capitalist pigdogs to their knees. The I at least get him out of his seat first by threating to kill the homeless guy who rides all day in the bus just to keep warm. Then I drive into the skyscraper secure in the knowledge that there are 72 virgins waiting for me in heaven, lightly frottering themselves with their hairbrushes to warm up for my arrival, at which time I shall get me some quality virgin lurrrve, in between being allowed to look upon the face of Allah.

Of course you know that the driver survived the attack, 10 people died total, including the attacker, and it had nothing whatsoever to do with terrorists. Just a crazy guy on a bus.
