What can I say.
I never actually believed that someone I knew, let alone dated once, would make it in the movies.
If you wanna call B movies making it, but hell, you gotta start somewhere.

okay, confession time...


I dated a B film director.

I'm really glad you started this thread actually, because I have been trying to get in touch with my ex for awhile now, without any luck of finding him.

But today I did.

I just sent him an e-mail.

He and I met when I was 18 and were madly in love. But his first love was filmmaking and it kind of tore us apart. He basically spent all his time and money on the movie he was making at the time, it was called Nuclear Dreaming, and I worked on it with him, we had a crew of about 5 people and he was one of the actors as well.

We had a bad break-up, lots of hurt feelings on both sides.

We didn't see each other again until I was 27 and living in Seattle while my mom was dying. I was driving down the street and he crossed in front of me. We ended up seeing alot of each other during that time, he used to go to see my mom at the hospital with me. It was very nice to have his support and friendship at that time.

After that I came back to Vancouver and we spoke a few times but lost touch. We were on good terms last time we spoke.

So when I read this thread today I thought I should look for him again and I found him.

When I saw his picture at his site it made me really happy, even a little teary-eyed.

Not sure I ever stopped loving him
