OK PMG and I are holding a raffle in support of this site.
I talked to wonder about this but not in detail. We will work out the particulars in this thread.

Your suggestions will be appreciated even if you are a dumbass.

I have acquired a couple very special paintings from PMG and will be donating the signed B&W print for this raffle.

My plan is to sell chances, not physical tickets in an ebay Dutch auction similar to this without actual tickets. Your paid bid is your ticket.

When the details are worked out I will post the auction.

I will need 5 volunteers with web cams to help with the drawing of the winning number and a possible coin toss.

One cam will be assigned to the coin toss (If needed), the other four cams will draw one digit of the winning number. The four digits will make up the winning number. It will be decided before hand in secret which cam will represent what position in the final number.

Check out the links and ask some questions and drop some suggestions PLEASE!

The chances will be $1. All of the money will go to the maintenance of this website. I would prefer if there was a way to pay directly to one of the site admins.

Someone will have to devise a program or a system for choosing random numbers for the people whom don't want to specify their own numbers.

I have thought this thing through. I will run the whole thing if necessary but it will be much more fun if we can get more people involved.

I was watching it to see if ebay shut it down. Aparently they did. I didn't see any rule prohibiting raffles on ebay but there must be some fine print somewhere.

just put up a dutch auction for an assload of X for Y price. people pay Y for X on ebay and you assign them a number through varified and documented emails. you don't have to actually sell tickets, just the idea of tickets.
