I was listening to BBC Radio 4 yesterday and Somalia came up. They spoke to the bankl that had had its assets frozen because it 'alledgely' was filtering funds to terrorist groups and bin Laden in particular. The bank have openly invited America, who made the charges, to look at all its records as it claims the allegations are false. In the same report there was a piece outside the bank where many angry, and poor somalians were trying to get hold of their savings that have effectviely been seized from them. Apparently not a pretty sight. I also found this reports from there in which many of the warring factions claim the allegations about terorist camps are founded in falsehood.

Any comments?

Well Paint, I think maybe the allegations are false due to dodgy intelligence perhaps. I mean the intelligence community has not exactly done the greatest job recently has it.

I must admit I was hoping for a bit more discussion that simply attempting to prempt a stereotype though.
