in answer to "why do women love assholes?"

ok. this is long, so skip now if you don't wanna read it.

women have predetermined instincts for finding a mate built in, just like men. sorry to say, but it's true. i've known plenty of guys that were funny, cute, and nice, but i felt absolutely nothing for. why? because they didn't fit my built-in criteria. a simple breakdown of MOST women's criteria would be this:

women like men that show confidence. men that can show assurance, take control of situations, seem responsible. this is because back in the day, we were the gatherers. men were the hunters, the protectors. it's instinct to look for a man that can protect us, show us the right path to take, kill the wild bear that's eating our picnic table. women also look for men that are, to a certain point, aggressive, for the same reasons. now, what do those things describe to you? every asshole i've ever known. most assholes are very confident, because they don't see what pricks they are. they take control of situations because they don't care what you think. they're aggressive alright, some so aggressive they'll display it for you on your face. but they show the basic temperament (at first) that makes our inner radar go "ding!". nice guys, now. most nice guys i know are shy, quiet, reserved, always offering someone else the chance to speak first, waiting their turn. most women say those are traits they look for. whatever. sure, i may LOOK for them, but what turns me on is a different aspect of a guy.

i know that everyone is going to argue with me, but that's ok...go ahead. i know i'm right and that's all that matters. heehee.

oh yeah, my guy? he's really quiet, reserved, doesn't like to be in control (he likes when i'm rough! hehe), and is a computer geek. "but, morgana!" you say. "doesn't that blow your theory to shit?". no. because i learned from my mistakes, became aware of this behaviour, and changed. for the better.

so in closing, guys, if you want a girl, be politely aggressive, be confident, be vocal. that's why girls fall for assholes. ko?

I was reading the new issue of FHM today (with Carmen Electra on the cover, yummy) and there's an article with a bunch of women talking about their ex-boyfriends who are jackasses. But basically, even their current boyfriends are jackasses by what they said. They said shit like, "My boyfriend forgot my birthday," and then say, "He remembers my favorite position, what kind of panties I really like.. the important things."

It shows where their priorities are. They put themselves through stupid relationships, that's their problem and not mine. Fuck 'em.
