This sounds fucking grand. I suspect that humor points will skyrocket.

One concern (?): Say for example that someone writes an insanely funny post and someone gives them a humor point for it. Is there any notification that that post has recieved a point? If not, there is a chance that everyone who reads that post will give a humor point for it.

Not trying to be a buzzkill here, just thinking aloud. This sounds way cool though.
