HEY DIABLO ll PEOPLE NEED I HELP !

I know some of you play diablo and this sounds really stupid but my hubby has a problem. How do you message someone on there if you know their name? He was playing earlier and this really nice guy let him use some sword or something and then the guy went linkdead. He waited around a long time but then the baby woke up or something and he couldnt wait around anymore. Hubby would like to get this item back to the guy but dosent know how to get ahold of him and all he has is his name.....help would be appreciated....

Well that doesn't always work. The character's name might not be his username on battlenet. it's a toughie. But i say, if the guy really wants his damned sword back he'll find a way to get to your hubby so don't worry.
