tim horton's can suck the chocolate creme outta my ass.

we have a tim horton's restaurant, and they're the rudest, slowest, stupidest people i've ever encountered in a fast food situation. just as an example: the lobby closes at 11 pm. i arrived at 10:47 by my watch. i got out of my car, and went in and stood at the counter for a good ten minutes before someone even came out of the back room. when the guy got to the counter, he said the lobby was closed. i said "uh...no it's not. how the fuck did i get in here then? if your door is open, you're still open for business. besides, when i got here, it was before 11." he still refused to serve me inside.

i haven't been back since.

it makes sense to know that they're canadian based, though.

Ok, ya got me there.

It was funny, not too long ago there was a public opinion poll thingie on the radio here about what people should call the new $2 coin. The $1 coin was called a "loonie" cuz it had a picture of a loon on the front.

Anyways, some guy calls in and said it was so appropriate to name the $1 coin a loonie since the loon is a "bottom feeding scavenger". His vote on what to call the new $2 coin was "an American dollar".

Maybe you had to be there, but I thought it was hysterical at the time.

KrispyKreme doughnuts are like heroin to me. They are opening the first KrispyKreme shop in MN out in the burbs here soon, and I may make a day trip out there and just wait for the neon sign to light up.

Incidentally, I am a recruiter for restaurant management. I get jobs for fat, goth girls at Denny's who wanna be managers. If you know any of them, and they're lookin for work anywhere in the US, give em my email addy.

Last time I was up in Canuck land I stoped at a TH and it wasn't bad but I'll always prefer Krispy's.. Yummy... I think I'll send my assistant out to get some now.. and some Starbucks.. .. Grin..

Yes, I am getting your donut dollars. You see, I own stock in Wendy's International, Inc. So, there you go. I get your donut dollars. If you'll notice, Wendy's Int'l Inc. owns Tim Horton's. As for the stock...I got it as a shitty xmas present one year and I've not done anything with it. I do get a check (very small...12 cents) every 3 months, though. So, you see, I do get your dirty donut dollars...in 12 cent divisions. So...there!

Nobody mentioned Krispy Krullers. They are the end all, be all of the donuts and coffee world.

Here in the South, we have plenty of Krispy Kremes. It's sort of funny to be going past one, see the "Hot Donuts Now" sign come on, and watch the traffic pattern become erratic.
