Lightbulb Random acts of Kindness

Well, it's that time of year again. Giving, receiving, family etc.

This year I am going to be alone for xmas. I am not complaining about that or looking for sympathy, but rather I am trying to think of ways to make it as joyful as possible.

For me, that has to be in giving.

When I give, I get such great pleasure. I actually think it's better than receiving.

So the last day or so I have been thinking about ways I can give on xmas so that I have a happy heart.

I am not exactly sure what that will be yet, but I have some ideas. I think it might be kind of nice to spend some money on a bunch of small things and wrap them up nicely and take them down to give to some street people. Like maybe gloves or something.

So, I am requesting all of my fellow Asylumites to take a minute and think of one thing you can do to give, to just be kind for kindness sake, with no expectations of returns other than the good feeling you will put out and get back.

Like Vyper is sending out cards to people, anyone who asks. It doesn't have to be anything big or costly. Just something from your heart.

/sap

Sorry to hear you will be alone.. But Glad to hear what you will do with it.. that's great..

With my Sister and Bro-in-law adopting two little girls this year it looks like EVERYONE is coming to town for x-mas.. Thankfully most will be staying at my mothers or aunt's houses as mine is a little under construction.. hehe good timing I think..

We all for thanksgiving and xmas go down to my mothers church and do the whole feed the homeless/elderly thing.. Thats kind of fun..

I told my 8 year old daughter that we would be donating bags of dogfood to the SPCA instead of gifts this year. I guess I should tell her I was kidding eh?
