ok, most of these were taken from graduation to my 21'st b-day

let's bring it on!

I graduated from 2 HS's at the same time

worthington HS (my general ed skool. that place needs to burn in a fiery pit of hell)

and

Fort Hayes carreer center, a HS that's kinda like Fame. they had performing arts, Fine and Commercial art (which is where I was) and other shit, like dentistry and computer repair.

this was a guy I really liked at Ft Hayes, he was such a cutie patootie!


this is Mike and Jay outside of our classroom at Ft Hayes. Mike is a fantastic artist, and he went on to graduate from CCAD with me. he's the last out of a class of 24 that I still chatted with. I think he moved up to lake erie to sculpt. I have no idea what happened to Jay.

well, on to college


this is the only pic I have of the inside of my dorm. That person huddled on the bed was my roomate. She was very interesting, but spent most of her nights at her SO's haus. Note the cinder block walls.


this was my SO at the time I was living in the dorms, he turned out to be bisexual or gay later :: shrug ::

well, yah.

the furniture was all thin plywood. and the mattresses on the beds (2 to a room, 4 to a dorm, that shared a small kitchen) were the same kind of mattresses you'd find at camp. About 4 inches thick made of foam and covered in cheap plastic.

welcome to CCAD.

BTW, they got real mattresses for the dorm people my sophmore year. of course I was in an apartment of my own then.

This is the site for the alum organization at my old high school in Dallas. You got me thinkin when I saw your pics, and I just typed it up in google. I haven't even looked at it yet myself. I was a piano player there. At that time there were only four of them in the country, or so I was told. One in Houston, one in NYC, and one in Dallas. I went to school with Edie Brickell and the New Bohemians, though I didn't know her near as well as the guys in the band. I can honestly say that it was the only time in my life when I woke up in the morning eager to get to school.

In fact, I think I had just come over there after work, and we smeared makeup on just to be festive.
