there is alot of really mature stuff in kids tv, always has been.

i remember once ready an essay in a book about sexual ambiguity and PeeWee's Playhouse.

There was a character called "Reba the mail lady" which of course the writer decided was a way of saying a transsexual or something like that.

I have a romper room video where a (talking) mime is teaching kids how to mime licking ice cream cones. *coff*

I was born in England, and Rainbow was my favorite show as a little kid. One day, Zippy got his mouth zipped up for being silly towards the end of the show, and I bothered my Mum all day about it, and could barely sleep because Zippy couldn't breathe.
