First, thank you to all pet lovers who responded about my first ever lie on the bed curl up in your arms pet I ever had.
It was interesting the day I chose them.
I had wanted a black cat.
Just that.
And I picked him and he was sweet.
Somewhere in the meantime, this black and white kitten had wormed her way into my car and I thought well..fate.
The black and white I had to put to sleep last week.
The black cat? He had been getting thinner for such a long time.
I thought he would go to the park maybe to die.
Was on alert if he was away for a day.
At 7 30 this morning, I came downstairs and I could see him out the window. He was on his tummy.
At 10 30 I came down again...he was on his side. I was going out, so I went to see if he was okay.There were flies in his mouth.
Oh.
I lifted up his leg and it was stiff.
I waited til Markus came home and we buried him in the front yard.
Actually, I wished I had done the same with Peabody.


I am keeping close watch on the dogs.

I'm so sorry My first real cat, Shadow, died the day after my 17th birthday. I still have her brother Reo, but he is getting old and I am afraid he could go any time Damn circle of life bull shit.
