As some of you know, there have been issues with recent statements made by tack regarding our meet in Philly. We want to make everyone aware of these comments, so at the very least you are informed.

On Monday morning (EST) in chat, tack got into an exchange with SmugGit and lunacy as follows:

10:08: smugling> because they will get checked and the number of times that you have spammed added up

Later that day, tack was banned from #wota for 24 hours.

On Tuesday, someone messaged an admin to inform them that tack intends to kill MstrG and himself in Philly. This person claims they got this info directly from tack. While it might aid you in assessing the credulity of the statements, we won't reveal the person's name for obvious reasons. We also have strong reason to believe he has said it to more than one person.

You're free to make whatever judgements you like about how to react to "threats on the Internet". Given we are talking about a real life event here, we have to take this seriously. As a sage man said this morning, "it sucks that the world we live in removes the innocence of assuming that it is a joke and ploy for attention."

If anyone has factual information to provide regarding this, we'd very much like to hear it. Please contact any admin.
