Contrary to popular belief I was actually present in Philly. Yes. I was. And yes I did enjoy myself. I didn’t exactly make the greatest impression on people (what did Paint call me again…oh yeah, ‘dull’. But that’s fair enough. I thought Paint looked like a twelve year old geek, but damn my quietness I never got to tell it to him face to face).

Anyway, the fact that I am quiet is because I simply don’t open up too well to people. It’s a ‘trust’ thing. I have issues. I’ve been posting at the asylum for a good 2 years or so now, and yet apart from the people I work with, who have ever opened up to privately (in chat etc)? Very few people.

I let the whole experience overwhelm me and I just never got going. But, it was still pretty magical to be surrounded by all of you. its amazing that Philly actually went ahead and happened, and to be there was special.

anyway....quiet, shy and laidback. I suppose that can be looked upon as being dull. anti-social even. sorry.

As for u4b calling me scary………well, that’s just damn right rude :fire:
I’d like to add, that at no point was I ‘disgusted’. You read me wrong honey, my piercing eyes misled you.

You and splat were great, and your hometown was beautiful. Much prefer it to the city. your cooking was exceptional too.

As for the other 3 limeys i travelled with, damn….I love you guys. Yep, even Phil. Those road trips were classic – and just ask spooky and Czech…I totally owned PJ.

As for the USA. Everything is big out there. I like it. Your beer is weak but drinkable, but your diners beat our cafes for breakfast hands down. But I am disappointed that I was not offered crack once when in Philly. No one even approached me to offer hookers either. That sucked.

I understand EXACTLY what you mean. And it's actually comforting to know I wasn't the only person there like this. I think if this had been a week long event by the end of it we all would have been able to be ourselves. Always a next time though.

PS: Do you mind if I steal these photos and put them on a website I am making? It's a Philly photo gallery, just thought it'd be neat to have all the pictures from Philly on one page.

When my father taught me to use a gun i was told that you NEVER POINT IT AT ANYONE, NOT EVEN JOKINGLY.

seems like really good advice. I had a friend shot and paralyzed at age 16 from someone pointing a gun at him and pulling the trigger. yes it was meant to be a joke, it was his best friend.
