I read at Obscurestore.com about a seventeen year old girl who stuck her 5 year old niece in a washing machine at the local laundry mat. She did it as a joke, thinking that once it started to fill with water she could just pull the child out. What she didn't realize was that once the front loading washing machine starts to fill, it automatically locks and CAN'T be opened until it drains. Fortunately, a laundry worker unplugged the machine, the fire department chopped the door open and the child (though scared and bruised) was generally unharmed. The saddest part is the seventeen year olds parents had been there the whole time and done nothing to stop the whole fiasco.

That's probably one of the dunbest things I've ever heard of someone doing. Which begs the question... have you ever heard of or done anything dumber?

ok this has just brought back some seriously bad memories for me. When I was about 4 my older brother (don't you just love siblings) convinced me to get into a washing machine (it was not connected to a water supply btw). Yes he turned the fucker on aswell.

I think I need therapy now. Thanks for bringing a memory I had buried deeply back to surface. You BASTID!!

My mom accidently killed her cat when the stupid bastard crawled in there without her knowlage. I know it isn't a stupid person story, but it lets you know that people in laundry machines equal the I.Q. of felines.

If it makes you feel any better... My sister convinced me when I was four that Space Mountain was a kiddie ride. She even told me all the annoucements ( you know ... don't ride if you are pregnant, have a heart problem, have a fear death) were for the ride next to us.

Man, I started this thread to cheer my up... now I'm TOTALLY blue funking.

My friend Mark burnt off a girl's hair once. It was in the eighties when HUGE bangs were really in. They were outside smoking/flirting and she asked for a lite. The fumes from her hair spray caught fire and >poof< it curled up like the wicked witch's toes in Wizard of Oz. He never did get her to go out with him. That's kind of weird if you think about it, a girl with melted bangs can't afford to be picky.

my friends and I used to take bic lighters and hold the gas open in our mouths and fill it up, then light the lighter and blow fire...

my friend sandy didn't tilt her head up and burnt off all her lashes, brows and wrecked the front of her hair...she had long dark blonde hair that went to nearly her waist.... ACK!

i have done lots of stupid things that i thought were fun at the time, i'll try to recall one and post it later.
