Well- Its good/bad news-

I went to get some blood work done..It was a three hour test..They made me drink 16 fl oz of pure glucose (with cola flavor!) then took some blood once an hour...I think they took a total of one ounce or so....They tested it and it turns out that i'm either insulin or glucose intolerant..That's why i cant lose weight..despite the fact that I eat very well, and excersize a lot, my cells cant process the glucose/or insulin that i intake...so it gets stored as fat...bummer huh? The good news is that I'll be able to take meds for it that will help me process the glucose/insulin, and in turn lose weight....

It turns out that this problem can be in a lot of people..Having trouble losing that weight? try getting it tested..PM me for more info..

I've undergone a few of those glucose tolerance tests, myself. One was an 8 hour test (which means, 16 blood draws) and the other a 4 hour.

Let me tell you, after 6 or so draws from each arm...that needle starts to feel like a damn freight train driving into your veins. Painful.

Seriously, Morgasm, we talked about this last night. I told you about what I have, PCOS. Which the root of it is hyperinsuliminia. They've put me on a diabetic medicine and diet (which I do not follow well enough, I'm trying though) and I do have much more stability in my energy level and moods. Blood sugar dips can do a number on you. Keep me informed, we can compare notes.

once i had pressurized air pushing sometype of medication directly through my skin and into my arm by something that resembles a 9mm pistol. but i've never had to be stabbed by 21 needles before. so i dunno what would be worse.

Well I don't know much about the condition and how ppl are talking about it it sounds like a lot of work, but it still must be exciting to know you're finally gonna lose the weight. We'll need lots of sexy swimsuit shots to show off your progress.
