Queens of the Stone Age's new album "Songs For The Deaf" will put them pretty high up on a pedastool. Why? Cuz the last time David Grohl was a full-time drummer, THAT band became huge, and rock n roll is in dire need of the "next Nirvana." QOTSA is it.

Unfortunately, i don't think Kenna is gonna hit it big. I LOVE! them and think they (he? is it a band or ....*shrug*) are very talented, but i just don't see many people embracing them.

The next big thing in hip-hop, methinks, is K-OS.
Coming at rap-rock fast on the outside is Monx, and they actually don't suck, been pounding the circuit for five years up here.

for you metalheads watch out for West Virginia's own Byzantine. they are getting ready to release a CD under Lamb of God's former label (who's drummer is their manager and singer is working on taking the guys out on a national tour) and have literally starting a very fast underground following since....
Too bad that is tonight in Providence and tomorrow too far away. Brad was telling me about it, and I burned the Shack Shakers CD. My friends dig it as well, good stuff.
