Queens of the Stone Age's new album "Songs For The Deaf" will put them pretty high up on a pedastool. Why? Cuz the last time David Grohl was a full-time drummer, THAT band became huge, and rock n roll is in dire need of the "next Nirvana." QOTSA is it.

Unfortunately, i don't think Kenna is gonna hit it big. I LOVE! them and think they (he? is it a band or ....*shrug*) are very talented, but i just don't see many people embracing them.

To revive surf you should go catch the Los Straitjackets Christmas Pagent, with the World Famous Pontani Sisters and the Legendary Shackshakers. Dates here. I am going for my birthday, but I hear late word that guitarist Joe Buck has departed the Shackshakers and they may not come. That would suck.
