sphere (Michael Crichton) is a pretty good novel. dont watch the movie. the movie is shite.

Childhood's End is also good.

if you liked the way the book made you think bout some stuff,

carl sagan has many other books out, i dont know if too many of them are actual stories, but all of his books make you think after you read them and if you can stand reading them

its a pity he is dead
