Latest CD Purchases?

Just snagged "Geogaddi" by Boards of Canada, "Source Tags And Codes" by Trail of Dead, "And Then The Nothing Turned Inside Out" by Yo La Tengo and "!" by the Dismemberment Plan. All for less than 40 bucks Canadian.

I'm too indie for my shirt.

yes, it is quite good. And for 11 bucks, I thought "Why the hell not?"...

The new loveliescrushing album is the best of the year so far, though...

trail of dead - source tags and codes.
pink floyd - meddle.
my bloody valentine - loveless.
bedhead - whatfunlifewas

and i know i got something else, although i can't remember it right now...

oh, and 'source tags and codes' is fucking brilliant. glad to see so many people went after it. the new boards of canada is really good too (raginghobo can attest, i'm sure), although i don't have any money to buy it right now .

instead, i'll have to fill my pooper with water for entertainment.

I just bought "The Gray Race" by Bad Religion a few weeks ago. My next purchase will likely be something by Phantom Planet.

Verve - Remixed, various DJ's remixing jazz classics. Good stuff.

Jools Holland's Big Band Rhythm & Blues, lots of big names, lots of blues covers. Great buy.

I have just returned from buying Selected Ambient Works Volume II by Aphex Twin.

I am sexier than Charles Manson in a hot tub full of pirhanas.

SAW2 is great too. Very underrated...

Also, I forgot to mention I bought Ministry's Sphinctour disc. Good, but not really worth the money...

I do.
And after listening to the first disc, I feel compelled to agree with you.
Although I am rather half assedly listening to it, it just hasn't quite struck me as fabulous yet.

'85-'92 is quite possibly one of the finest discs I own. I even named myself after a bit of it. In case you hadn't guessed.

White Light/White Heat is one of the best albums ever.

I just bought Unknown Pleasures by Joy Division...not too impressed so far. I don't like their faster songs... I'm still not getting the hype around Trail of the Dead either...
