I did it .. and my loved oned did the online version ...

Holy shit its something I need to forget about thanks Mstr G ... My mothers IQ ended up bigger than mine ...

It was a pile of arse .. and wasnt done under test standards ... you couldnt spend what time you wanted on each question .. because of the live studio audience participation and because they wanted to spin it out and make a meal of it ...

Also .. the tv version had Anne-fucking-Robinson READING THE QUESTIONS OUT LOUD (at a snails pace) as you were trying to calculate the answers ...

total bollocks ...

Not to mention the Royal Institute of the Blind has complained to the BBC that it did not cater for the blind under its own Charter because there were visual question. The BBC is having an enquiry over this now because it failed in its obligation to the visually impaired.

The test looks good enough, but it is just not hard enough at the top end; considering that few people are in this top end, I guess that is not too bad.

The IQ test can be a useful tool, in a basic way, as long as people don't place too much faith in it; intelligence is probably best defined in the AI way, ie, how good you are at certain mental task or tasks. This will of course give you a different Intelligence rating for different tasks.
