Thumbs down Snoopy go home

The government is planning a massive extension of the number of public bodies that can snoop on details of telephone calls, email and web traffic.
The Regulation of Investigatory Powers (RIP) Act is to be amended so that bodies including district councils, local authorities, and the Department of Health will be able to gain access to web and email data.
These bodies are going to obtain this personal data on anyone they wish, without any effective way of checking what they're doing.
This is done inorder to

is one of meny steps to close the borders of the US internet.

It may do them some good to read my email. I'm getting some pretty low interest rate offers.
Perhaps they could transfer the national debt to the Capital One Platinum card offer I just got. Interest free til 2003!

Little known fact...conservation police are not restricted by any state boundaries, do not need a search warrant, and can confiscate anything in the pursuit of "evidence." Good thing they aren't power mad.

If anyone takes my green chandalier, I will kick them in the nuts.

Has anyone ever paid attention to the little fees on your telephone bill?

A FEDERAL ACCESS Charge - What the fuck?

The others are irritating, but at least we might benefit from them like the 911 AND poisen control surcharges.

They always had access, they're just legalising what they have always been doing anyway.

Troubled, yes, jaded as well though.

Been watching this since 1948.
