I also visited morgan at the stable where she does her riding.

There she is having a lesson. From listening to the chatter around the stable she is quite good.

OK 2 things

1, Wallmart developed them very dark with most of them with a red line through em.

Yeah i was going to say that the scenery pics looked like you took them at the dead of night. It's walmart though....wouldn't expect them to be competant with anything except stacking toilet tissue.

Have you tried to brighten them up in photoshop or the like?

yes I did, it just looked worse (these pics are also not glossy, which doesn't help with the scanning process).

Scan the pics at a high resolution, say 300 to 400 dpi and then shrink them down to say about a hundred dpi. They should look alot better, at least thats my experience with stuff like that.
